Retail Structured Product Sales
The client has a highly successful retail structured product sales operation throughout Europe with the major exception of the UK and Ireland. The brief was to identify a candidate with sufficient technical knowledge of leading edge structured products designed specifically for the retail market and whom also had a deep knowledge of, and strong contact base in, the various distribution channels in the UK & Ireland. The research part of the process produced a long list comprising of a number of different approaches and styles corresponding with the diverse development of solutions to the idiosyncracies of the UK/Ireland retail financial markets. The search became an iterative process as the client was exposed to these various solutions. Over the course of the short list presentation, the client's ideas crystallised and a proposed solution was agreed. A team of two was identified and a successful hire was the result.
