Hays Executive were appointed by this main contractor based in Derby, with a turnover of £120 million to recruit a Construction Director to head up and lead the Birmingham office.

It was essential that the individual had a solid understanding of the Birmingham construction market. A combined search and selection campaign which targeted construction contractors in the West Midlands proved successful and a shortlist of candidates specific to the brief were found. 2 candidates were shortlisted, both were strong enough to have been offered. The successful candidate was found, via a search, from a top 10 contractor.
