Hays Executive was appointed to recruit a Country Manager for Trygg Hansa in Oslo. Trygg-Hansa is a Swedish insurance company with offices in the Nordic area. Responsibilities included managing around 400 people, most of them salesmen. An executive search exercise was launched from Stockholm to find the right person in Oslo. It was necessary to speak to a wide variety of individuals to seek potential recommendations due to the skills required. A head hunted candidate was offered the position. Our successful recruitment for this position led to our being appointed to recruit for 2 further positions as Key Account Manager, one in Oslo and one in Stockholm.
