This client was looking for an equity salesperson with experience of global institutions where they had developed strong client relationships with the leading international asset management and hedge fund community as well as strong market knowledge particularly with respect to China related stocks.

The research team again mapped the equity sales market in Hong Kong as well looking at individuals in Singapore, London and New York with the right credentials. A strong candidate was found who had previously been Head of Equities in Taiwan and spoke fluent Mandarin but had taken time out of the market for further study and was now keen to pursue his career in a senior position based in Shanghai.
