Since its formation in 1986, the organisation has stayed true to its initial commitment of making a positive difference to all its customers.

A4e is one of the United Kingdom’s largest suppliers of services to the public, private and voluntary sectors and as such is able to help people all over the world.

A4e achieves this by annually managing and distributing over £300m of government and European funds and employing over 1,500 people across its 100 offices.

A4e’s reputation is maintained by its ability to fulfil its principal aims, which include the supporting of 60,000 people annually in their return to work, providing trained staff to numerous businesses and by helping people to take control of their finances through various workshops.

A4e is also committed to promoting race equality by managing an £18m fund on behalf of the Race Equality Foundation (REF).
